Innes National ParkIt is famous for wide, sandy beaches, historic mining towns and Cornish Heritage. With its cool, clear, clean waters the Yorke Peninsula has a reputation for recreational sea fishing the equal of anywhere.

Some of the best fishing and boating can be found here. These historic jetties are some of the most popular in the state, the region is a fishing paradise, offering bountiful catches of snook, whiting, squid and tommies most of the year, plus in season the worlds largest snapper and sometimes Kingfish.

North Beach and Wallaroo

WallarooWallaroo is a port town on the western side of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. It is one of the three Copper Triangle towns famed for their historic shared copper mining industry, and known together as "Little Cornwall". To the north of Wallaroo is the famous "North Beach" - one of Australia's safest beaches.

Moonta Bay

moonta-bayMoonta Bay (Simms Cove) and Port Hughes are close neighbours. Sandy beaches, clear blue waters, lazy beach-side cafes and historic jetties make this township a real draw card for fishermen, families and holidaymakers alike. Moonta sits roughly 160 km northwest of Adelaide in the region known as the 'Copper Triangle". The other two towns that complete the Copper Triangle are Wallaroo and Kadina.
